2019 Conference Comparison and Expected Wins

2019 Spreads by Week

Arizona

Getting their best personnel on the field made a difference for the Wildcats in their best defensive performance by a mile this season. A freshman corner left the program already.

Arizona State

The Sun Devils went into East Lansing and got it done and earned some national recognition. The offensive line is really young.

Cal

The Bears struggled a little bit with North Texas. Justin Wilcox fits Cal right down to how he gets to work.

Colorado

Colorado took that Nebraska game to the bank. The Buffs are not going to use their recent injuries as an excuse.

Oregon

The Ducks have some guys hoping to be healthy for the Stanford game. It does feel like an important game for Cristobal even though the Ducks are rolling and the Cardinal is reeling.

Oregon State

The Beavers defense has to improve for the Beavers to improve in conference this season, do we have confidence in that after non-con? Jonathan Smith talks about football and non-football on the bye week.

Stanford

Some freshman are getting a chance to show out for the Cardinal. A former coach passed away.

UCLA

There are some schematic similarities between Oklahoma and WSU. The Rose Bowl is depressing when you are losing in front of a sparse crowd.

USC

Clay Helton thinks the Trojans could be good, but with Slovis going down, they'll be on their third QB this year. The paper of record had a reporter on hand for the Utah game and a write-up on the conference woes starting with the Trojans.

Utah

Some national stories about the Utes; Whittingham's do-it-yourself contender and a legit question about the Utah offense being good enough to get them to the playoff.

Washington

The Huskies face another tough running back against BYU. A highly regarded freshman got in the game last week and should we expect him this week too?

Washington State

The Cougs are getting the HBO treatment. The Cougs are rolling a bit out of non-con.

Football Thing:

In honor of the Utah-USC game let's pull out one of Morgan Scalley's favorite tactics; the Green Dog Blitz.

Non-Football Things:

This is a good book.

This is a good song.

This is good to know. If you have a sous-vide you can make creme-brulee.
