We are previewing the 2019 season already:
2019 Conference Comparison and Expected Wins
Arizona
Michael Lev of the Daily Star has some stats to keep an eye on for Arizona this season and they are good stats to follow. If you did not see the depth chart for Hawai'i then here you go.
Arizona State
We are doing fewer Herm Edwards write-ups this preseason, but this one is worth the read. As Jayden Daniels goes so will the Sun Devils so what does the defense have to say about him after facing him in practice.
Cal
A preview of the Bears secondary and their offense.
Colorado
The Buffs have some snaps available in the secondary and here are a cornerback and safety competing for those spots.
Oregon
The Ducks get to face a true freshman QB against Auburn. Auburn's defense might focus on not giving up deep balls against the Ducks. It's not the worst strategy given the completion percentage issue of Herbert and his WR's.
Oregon State
Ten things to think on as the Beavs close camp and head into game week against the Cowboys. An Arizona transfer got some additional eligibility.
Stanford
I think Costello has already cemented much of his legacy at Stanford after he and the WR's carried a middling offense on their backs last season.
UCLA
The Bruins might start a true freshman at one of their tackle spots. Joshua Kelley is back at practice after an injury.
USC
JT Daniels was named the starting QB, but the big news was who is the backup. Bru McCoy is still sick, but feeling better.
Utah
A nice write-up of one of the best players in the Pac-12 and a mailbag of Utes questions as we hit the season.
Washington
This mailbag answers some questions I have about the Huskies; including about WR. The Jake we expected was named starting QB.
Washington State
I do love a good projected depth chart. The final take-aways of fall camp before the Cougs move to game week.
Football Thing:
A deeper dive into DL technique numeration; where do you line up.
Non-Football Things:
This is a good book.
This is a good song.
This is good to know. If you are interested in getting more quantitative in what you are doing this is an extremely useful and readable work.
